Editions of "Dodo" newspaper were published in the book format

Baku International Multiculturalism Center held an event on the occasion of the publication of the 3-year edition of the "Dodo" newspaper (2017-2020) in the book format. Rashad Ilyasov, head of the department of Analytics at BIMC, opened the event with an introductory speech, greeted the guests and gave information about the meeting. Later, BIMC’s adviser Prof. Aytan Gahraman spoke about the tolerant and multicultural environment in Azerbaijan, as well as the conditions created for all national and religious communities in our country on the example of "Dodo" newspaper. Anar Alizadeh, the leading adviser of the Department of Humanitarian Policy, Diaspora, Multiculturalism and Religious Affairs of the Presidential Administration, Imamverdi Hamidov, the elder of the Talish Community, Robert Mobili, the chairman of the Alban-Udi Christian Community, Imran Rzayev, the chairman of the "Samur" Lezgi National Cultural Center, Tahira Mammadova, Chairman of "Azerbaijan-Iraq Cultural Relations" Public Union, Gulnara Inanj, head of "Ethnoglobus" Research Center, Emil Panahov, pastor of Vineyard church, Alhaddin Pashayev, psychologist, resident of Jack village in Guba, as well as many national community representatives participated at the event. The speakers talked about the history of "Dodo" newspaper, the importance of its publication in the book format, and the contributions of multiculturalism policy of Azerbaijan. At the end of the event, the founder and editor-in-chief of "Dodo" newspaper Irada Malikova gave a speech and expressed her gratitude to the participants.
      It should be noted that "Dodo" newspaper is a public newspaper published once a month in Talysh language. In the first 2 pages of the newspaper, a large space is allocated to the events held by the state. At the same time, information about intellectuals is provided. Other pages of the newspaper include examples of Talysh folklore: proverbs, idioms, myths, fairy tales, stories, legends, puzzles, poems, ghazals, tales, as well as the grammar of the Talysh language, dictionaries, published books, and various topics related to Talysh culture.
