Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University hosted a discussion of the textbooks “Azerbaijan Multiculturalism” and “Introduction to Multiculturalism”, newly published by Baku International Multiculturalism Center. The event took place at the university's book house. The conference was attended by the university’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Rauf Aliyarov, director of the book house Salahat Mahmudova, BIMC department heads Rashad Ilyasov and Yadigar Mammadli,  Deputy Executive Director of the Moral Values Promotion Fund Rafi Gurbanov (co-author) and BIMC advisor Rahim Rahimov (co-author),  as well as professors, teachers and students of the university. The speakers at the event emphasized the importance of having this discussion at a technology-oriented university, noting that the new textbook was a success for the education process and was developed with high quality. During the speeches, suggestions were made to improve the textbook as well.
